Our American curriculum school, International School of Creative Science (ASCS) is looking for a creative, passionate and outstanding PE Teacher who value professional development opportunities and a good work-life balance. We expect our Teachers to deliver high quality lessons while successfully nurturing and inspiring our students. As part of our energetic and welcoming team, you will enthuse and motivate students to strive for success while maintaining a healthy learning environment for all children within the school.
Teach Physical Education to pupils and to carry out such other associated duties as are reasonably assigned by school management.
The post holder may be responsible for the supervision of the work of classroom assistants relevant to his/her responsibilities. Promote physical activity among children and young adults.
Skills
- Bachelors Degree in Physical Education or related subject
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience in Physical Education, Health Education, Fitness or Nutrition
- Successfully completed (and valid certificate) Lifeguard course which is provided by DAC (Dubai accreditation centre) approved centres only. (Lifeguard course should include lifeguard techniques, advanced first-aid and Lifesaving rescue operations)
- Successfully completed ASA Level 2 Swimming teacher certification or equivalent
- Preferably with IKTHAR/KHDA/ADEC approval for local candidates
