Key responsibilities
- Organizing and overseeing Center facilities, systems, client liaison, budget monitoring (procurement perspective) and general office management supervisory duties.
- To be responsible for the smooth running and continuous improvement of all facilities in school.
- Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation
- Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
- Checking electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality
- Plan andoversee all repair and installation activities
- Allocate workload and supervise staff in the department
- Establishes corrective and emergency maintenance procedures.
- Reviews all facility maintenance contracts/agreements and ensure terms and conditions are implemented.
- Plans the need and feasibility of minor additions, modifications and alterations to existing facilities and equipment. Participates in the design of such modifications to ensure modified/new equipment and installations are maintainable as per Beam’s standards.
- Assisting efficiently and effectively in the representation of the School in Dubai branches.
Skills
Mandatory Qualification and Work Experience
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
- Bilingual (Arabic/English)
- Minimum of 5 years above experience in school environment is a must.
- Experience in planning maintenance operations
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
